ROMAN H. SCHMID

I am a creator, artist, entrepreneur, leader, and value-driven coach. My professional and private experiences, as well as my readiness for personal growth, make me an authentic coach for responsible entrepreneurs, value-oriented top executives as well as all fathers, mothers, and artists; and, in essence, for anyone who wants to create, bear responsibility, and live a happy life.

After my Political Science, Business Administration, and History studies at the University of Zurich, I was allowed to lead challenging projects in the fashion & finance industry. Since 2010, I've built several companies successfully. In 2016, I founded SanDono, where I work as a business coach and, since 2019, as a life coach. Through my work at SanDono, I have helped over 100 businesses and several hundred people in their personal development.

Being the son of a farmer, I've been connected to nature my whole life, whether on the farm, in the garden, or in the beautiful Swiss lakes, mountains & forests. Through traveling, I have discovered incomparable landscapes worldwide, and still today, I draw from all these wonderful experiences and moments in nature.

Five years ago, I began to intensify my work planting vegetables, herbs, and fruits in raised beds and self-taught myself the ins and outs of the wild mountain world: the knowledge of its terrain, its animals, plants, and mushrooms. Today I am an enthusiastic gardener, mushroom picker, hiker, skier, nature lover, and passionate cook, pianist, songwriter & singer.

I currently live between Spain and Switzerland, which allows me to enjoy the mountains, forests, lakes, and rivers of Switzerland, as well as the Mediterranean Sea. My wonderful wife has given me two amazing children, and family means everything to me, which is why I prioritize them highly in my life.

LUKAS ANGSTER

I am an entrepreneur, learning coach, and curious about what drives people. I believe that everyone carries within them the ability to lead themselves, to learn, and to grow beyond their own limits.

After studying Business Innovation at the University of St. Gallen and International Management at HEC Paris, I spent over 15 years in project and business development across the financial and healthcare sectors. In recent years, I’ve been supporting startups as an advisor and coach while building my own ventures as a (co-)founder. Whether as a consultant, leader in established companies, or startup CEO, I’ve experienced what truly moves people and organizations: clarity, trust, and courage.

Helping others bring out the best in themselves – in business and in life – is what drives me. Many of today’s biggest challenges – from sustainability to social justice – could be addressed more effectively if more people had access to the right resources and the ability for self-regulated learning. For me, learning and personal development are not goals but an attitude: staying open, challenging yourself a little every day, reflecting, and growing.

I work with courage, decisiveness, and empathy. People value that I build trust quickly, simplify complex topics, and focus on solutions.

You’ll often find me outdoors – in the mountains hiking, skiing, or biking, or traveling with my camera. I enjoy good conversations over a nice meal, strategic board games, and music that moves me.

OLIVER WIRTHS

I am the founder of Alpine Leadership, where I work with entrepreneurs, founders, and leadership teams to navigate growth, pressure, and uncertainty with clarity and courage.

Over the past years, I have coached C-level executives, founder teams, and second-level leaders across startups of different sizes. Having founded a company myself, I know firsthand what it means to build under pressure—balancing vision, execution, and the emotional demands of leadership. This allows me to bridge the gap between startup and corporate worlds and understand the different challenges and realities on both sides.

I am also a lecturer at ZHAW Startup Campus, where I support early-stage founders in developing their leadership and entrepreneurial skills.

What makes my work different is simple: I don’t believe leadership is learned in comfortable rooms.

I take it out into real environments—mountains, air, and nature—where uncertainty is not a concept, but a condition. As an alpinist, climber, and paraglider, I draw directly from situations where decisions have real consequences, and overthinking quickly becomes a liability. In today’s business world, which is just as volatile (but far less honest about it), these parallels are not just interesting—they are essential.

Because insight alone doesn’t change how you lead. Experience does.

I have also run mastermind groups for founders, creating spaces where entrepreneurs challenge each other, think bigger, and grow together.

My focus is on helping leaders stay clear-headed under pressure, make better decisions in uncertainty, and lead others without losing themselves in the process. Because the moments that define you as a leader rarely happen when things are under control—but when they are not.

JULIA BERHARD

I am a systemic coach, change manager, and someone who believes that clarity comes when you step outside the usual spaces - often literally into nature or uncomfortable conversations.

After studying in the Netherlands, I spent over a decade driving transformation: first leading procurement and supply chain restructuring across Europe at INVERTO (a BCG company), working with companies in private equity, food, packaging, and retail. I then moved into international development, joining Acasus as Deputy Head of Projects and Project Director, where I improved healthcare systems in Chad, DRC, Ethiopia, Sudan and Somalia - working directly with health ministries and navigating the complexity of fragile contexts.

What drives me is helping people and organizations move from plan into genuine action. I work with founders, leaders, and teams using coaching, outdoor settings, and strategic thinking to cut through complexity. I hold a certification in systemic coaching and change management from the University of Cologne. People say I push them outside their comfort zone - I do, because that's where real change happens. I'm also direct and honest, and I believe in naming what's actually true, not what's comfortable.

Outside of consulting and coaching work, I'm a committed hybrid athlete - Hyrox and triathlon is where I push myself, but also process the intensity of transformation work. The mountains, forests, and lakes around me give me clarity and keep me grounded. I'm a feminist and deeply committed to diversity, inclusion, and fairness - values that shape how I work, whom I partner with, and what I stand for. Balance and sustainable wellbeing are non-negotiable.
